Sophistication and Bazilianess at Casa Cor Goiás 2018
Signed pieces of the brand enrich the four distinct spaces in the main show of architecture and decoration of the state.
DonaFlor Mobilia – a brand specialized in furniture and accessories signed for the external area – participates in CASACOR Goiás 2018, which runs until June 13 in the new tallest building in Brazil, Órion Business & Health Complex, in a privileged region of the capital Goiânia. With the theme "A Casa Viva", the 2018 edition of the show highlights projects that value the landscape, referring to harmonious coexistence with urban aesthetics and nature with a focus on connections between people.
Different signed collections from DonaFlor set four distinct designs from the state's main architecture and decoration exhibition. They are pieces that exude poetry and bossa, helping to commend warm and life-filled environments: a particular universe of design and beauty.

In this refuge idealized for a young modern and bon-vivant couple, lovers of design and art, the warmth of wood and the freshness of white meet to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Following the proposal, the Anauê Suspended Armchair, signed by Daniela Ferro, provides comfort and a touch of aesthetic lightness that instigates rest. Inspired by indigenous culture, with its richness of details and meanings, the play dialogues with modernity and the cosmopolitan spirit of Brazilian design. In the plots and flowing lines, the portrait of ritualistic clothing and the objects of typical indigenous handicrafts. The rocking armchair also adds a playful and relaxed dimension to the environment.
Praça – Jefferson Castro
The project aims to transform the place of coexistence into a pleasant environment, in which nature, art and design dialogue. The space was divided into three environments, the largest of them is dedicated to meetings between friends and rest, with walls that mix a very living vertical garden and tiles of the artist Ricardo Masi. To accommodate everyone with great comfort, pieces from the Skyfolding Collection are created by the Italian-Brazilian studio Adolini+Simonini. With a strong influence of urban elements, the furniture reverberates the artistic plasticity of the duo of designers who – in this collection – take, as a starting point, the scaffolding and its connecting elements, exploring the contrast between the coldness of aluminum, the neutrality of the plastic net and the warmth of wood.
The presence of this last element in the space is reinforced by the Brincantes Armchair, by Paulo Foggiato, which evokes the warmth and strength of the wood. Immersed in the profusion of movements and emotions of the northeastern hintercountry, the piece brings apparent and well-marked fittings, where the lack of pattern of the boards refer to the power of overcoming, the transformation of a challenge into art.
The vivacity of nature also appears in the decoration through the Lumiar Line, from the Carioca studio Lattoog. Composed of coffee tables and cachepots that accommodate large plants, the line depicts in its design leaves of different sizes with rich wefts and textures, evidencing the ethnic influence and allowing the use of the pieces together without regret. Also make up the environment the Line Ana, signed by Paulo Alves, Armchair Eixo, Bruno Faucz and the elegant Armchair with Contour pouf, by designer Regiane Carvalho Leite.
Sky Garden – Flávia and Fernanda Ogata
Set on the roof of the building that is presenting CASACOR Goiás, the garden immerses in the concept of urban jungle to bring a rich space, with a wide variety of species that make up this jungle, favoring coexistence and contemplation. Nature contrasts the cold and impersonal environments often typical of the metropolises. Offering a resting point with great comfort, the Armchair with Pouf Anauê, by Daniela Ferro, was adopted to welcome the guests. The high backrest is an invitation to relaxation, and the fibers wet create a light, sophisticated and original visual effect, alluded to body painting and indigenous basketry. The piece features organic and fluid design, integrating the sides to the backrest, superimposed on a wooden base resulting from a refined joinery work. Also, by designer Daniela Ferro, the friendly Rudã side tables close the décor.
Cielo Lounge Bar – Fabíola Fleury Naoum and Wilker Godoi Coelho
With a privileged panoramic view of the Capital of Goiás, the environment integrates elements from an elegant bar to a relaxed lookout, following architectural features of contemporary rooftops characteristic of large metropolises. On the bench, who accommodates visitors are the Chairs Anauê, Daniela Ferro, with strong feminine traits. In the work of the strings, the cultural load of centuries is outset in lines referring to the body paintings and basketry of native Brazil.
The accommodations of the tables arranged by the space have the iconic design of the Branch Chairs, signed by the studio Adolini +Simonini. The pieces are characterized by the essentiality of the robust structure in bent tube, enriched flexibly and expressively by the fabric coating. The seat brings a slatted design in diagonal geometric shape of wood with distinct directions, where the balance between materials and multiple combinations give rise to a singular, practical, and cozy creation.
