DonaFlor at the 4th Casas Conceito Show: Design and culture hand in hand

Art and culture in every corner. The colors that spread through the neighborhoods and the life that overflows with the happiness that could only be Bahian. Bahia is a microcosm of the best of Brazil: music with swing, cuisine with spice, and people with creativity. A piece of the country that represents DonaFlor's DNA, stripped down and contemporary.

It was in this scenario where nature breathes deep and the sea, with its comings and goings, dictating the pace of life, that the brand chose to exhibit new pieces from its catalog, alongside other already established and repainted. Everything happened at the 4th Casas Conceito show, idealized by Andrea Velame, from August 30th to October 30th, at the former Divino Mestre school, at Travessa dos Perdões, in Santo Antônio do Carmo, Salvador.

The show room, set up in a 300 m2 space, was signed by the architect Marcus Barbosa. Called Bristrô Garden Bar, the project revealed an environment that blends touches of class, lightness, colors, shapes, and comfort. All inspired by the bossa of Bahia. Another detail that drew attention was the versatility that the professional applied to the brand's products, using outdoor pieces for an indoor exhibition, without losing the essence.

Between pieces of art and landscaping, the DonaFlor collection revealed its perfect harmony, creating an atmosphere of lightness and lyricism. Architect Marcus Barbosa, creator of the concept, pointed out, "we sought to find the best language to transform the space into something contemporary, that would bring people the comfort of living together and that had a casual language."

"A space that contemplates culture and history. In this edition, DonaFlor presents new products from its collection and, also, furniture with the identity of the space." Says Marcelo Yamasita, commercial director of DonaFlor.
Expanding frontiers and horizons is the role of art. And DonaFlor allies itself with this concept to create its DNA, keeping its roots and its eyes on the future.
