DonaFlor Mobília stands out in an environment by Marcus Barbosa at Casas Conceito 2023

This year following the theme 'Memories', the renowned Casas Conceito exhibition returns to Salvador, Bahia, to celebrate its fifth edition with some of the most prominent names in regional architecture.
Promoted at the Duas Américas Building, on Rua Chile, the main thoroughfare in the historic center of the capital of Salvador, the event, which runs until October 1st, follows an innovative character by showcasing the great trends of contemporary living.
One of the highlights of this year's exhibition is Restaurante Chão, a project designed by architect Marcus Barbosa in the basement of the building, and which uses furniture from DonaFlor Mobília in its production.
Restoring the place was challenging, as it was almost completely sealed, but with careful attention, the professional managed to create, amidst the large volume of pillars and beams, a cozy space that conveys the essence of enjoying life with those we love. .

For the composition of the interior design, the idea was to use a neutral base, with some occasional touches of color to bring personality, following an elegant and cozy concept. The Beladona, Irupe, Ana armchairs, the Ana and Tie side tables, the Colibri chair with arm, the Orla puff, the Colibri stool, in addition to the Dobra table, were some of the pieces designed by DonaFlor Mobília chosen to complete the restaurant's decor.
Among other things, the project also brings together a restaurant, cafe, jewelry store, bookstore, bar and cigar shop, where its simplicity reveals a balanced architecture that allows the colors to really stand out through the stories being written there.
